IDOX Uniform supports base maps using WMS.
Uniform requires a WMS stem-style link, with no parameters included (such as getCapabilities).

{id} is your viaEuropa ID
There have been reports of difficulties using Basic Authentication so it is recommended that a standard viaEuropa ID be used for this application.
After adding the link, go into the Admin Tab, Customization, Spatial, Module map layers, right-click and retrieve and then configure your web based layer (See Reference/Map Inventory). . Please note that this may vary depending on the version of Uniform being used.
Long layer titles - The initial implementation of viaEuropa WMS used rather long layer titles which has caused problems for some client software, including Uniform. Layers with more manageable (but less self-explanatory) short-form titles have been added. The long-form title layers should be regarded as deprecated and are scheduled to be removed after 31 January 2019. See Reference/Map Inventory
